Latin Fusion Fitness© is an exclusive exercise and fitness program developed by Jeff Allen and not taught anywhere else, yet!  It is UNLIKE any other dance exercise program.  Jeff has taught this at as a master instructor at other studios to rave revues and now he brings his own program to his beautiful new studio in Cranston, RI.  Watch the pounds come pouring off as you use the authentic and recognized dance choreography that is used in night clubs everywhere.  Latin Fusion Fitness© is a solo dance exercise experience with no floor work. There is no partner necessary; there is no experience necessary, you do this for yourself. Join us for the thrill and joy of LFF© (Latin Fusion Fitness©) during each session and you’ll be able to using the very same moves as a partner dancing at your favorite night spot.  You learn to dance various Latin dances as the pounds come off or focus on the pounds coming off and firming up and as an intrinsic benefit, learn to dance Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha-Cha, and Samba.

NO dance experience is necessary and you’ll participate at your own level of athletic ability and conditioning. Jeff realizes he’s teaching normal people who just want to get fit and have fun.  Therefore he teaches to the average class participant not the great dancer.   Have pure fun participating in Latin Fusion Fitness© as you develop poise, strength, and flexibility.  You’ll have a new sense of pride and confidence as you watch your legs and core change. You’ll get better at the dances from class to class.  You’ll be losing weight looking better while developing the life skill of Latin dancing right from the first class.  Again you do not need any dance background!  As you work on your dancing you won’t even know your exercising! We will feature the actual choreography and music from Salsa, Cha-Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Mambo, Samba, and Jive; you’ve seen all these dances on Television. Your teacher Jeff Allen is a World Class Professional Latin and Ballroom Dancer and Teacher.  Jeff has many years of teaching experience and over 30 nationally recognized Top Teacher Awards.  He is also a National Examiner for DVIDA.

The class will be conducted in classic interval training as follows: a slow methodical start to start each interval and then a gradual increase in speed and difficulty.  When you have achieved your personal plateau you simply clap your hands along with the music’s rhythm returning to the most basic movement for the remainder of the interval.  One goal you can set for yourself will be to get further along in each interval as you become more fit.  Don’t forget to bring water (or at least an unbreakable bottle) we have fresh chilled filtered water at the studio – no charge.  Also, bring a towel and your shoe attire should be as smooth a bottom as possible.  Comfortable work out or dance attire is recommended. A liability waiver will have to be signed upon starting our program.

Jeff will teach you the principles of “dynamic resistance” to enhance the effectiveness of any extremity or core movement you might make. It’s the “Dynamic resistance” that will help shed those pounds not the quality of your dancing. Just joining us for the ride, it becomes infectious; you’ll want to share this with your friends.   “Dynamic resistance” (Jeff’s terminology) is the single major technique that top pro dancers use to generate wonderful rhythmic expression and musicality to their movements in dance.  Dancers are musicians using their own bodies as their instruments and concentrate greatly to keep the music in their own form.  Many dancers as a result of “dynamic resistance” live longer and stay looking younger than the normal pedestrians, sometimes as much as 30 years younger.   Latin Fusion Fitness© will result in much better appearance, greater believability and flexibility in your daily as well as dance movements, and the caloric burn will be greatly enhanced.
